If you have been waiting for Cash for Clunkers to come back, now is your chance. The new Vehicle Replacement Incentive Consumer Program (VRRRM) is here. Note this is a limited time Government backed program with limited funding, so you must act fast! The California Community Colleges has received a grant to help replace high-emitting vehicles to improve air quality.
This program provides $3,500 toward the purchase of a new, more fuel efficient vehicle. To qualify, your vehicle must be a or 1995 or older model that is drivable and has been registered in California for the past 6 months. This program is only for the first 1,000 eligible customers.

Take a Swing at Who is in this Photo
If you guessed Lou Gehrig, Glenn E. Thomas and Babe Ruth, you are right!The two famous guests visited GET in 1927. Babe Ruth set a major league record that would stand for years, hitting 60 home runs in a single season, shortly after this photo was taken! Glenn E. Thomas heard the Yankees were coming to town to play in an exhibition game and had extended an invitation to Babe Ruth to be his guest at his favorite duck-hunting club. He brought his famous first baseman, Lou Gehrig, with him. The picture of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Glenn E. Thomas still adorns our showroom wall today.
